 2014 – 2015 Pool tutor with Cardiff Open, part of Cardiff Metropolitan University, teaching textile skills in standalone workshops and short courses
 2006 – 2015 Self-employed textile artist – selling hand-dyed silk scarves, sewn items and beaded jewellery in local galleries
 2013 – 2015 Volunteer co-treasurer involved in setting up of ‘Making Minds’, a constitution-led organisation that promotes creativity to help wellbeing
 2011 – 2015 Part-time gallery assistant at Llantrisant Gallery @ Model House looking after the shop floor, pricing and displaying products, assisting customers
 2006 – 2010 Part-time tutor teaching short courses and one-day workshops for children, adults and vulnerable people. This included respite days for carers, jewellery-making sessions at Pontypridd High School and outreach sessions in community centres.
